All grant and sponsorship requests are fully vetted to guarantee alignment with the Pillars of Giving and the reputation and financial health of the community partner, prior to formal review by the FM&T Community Reinvestment Council. The Council is comprised of the FM&T president, chief financial officer, vice presidents of engineer and integrated supply chain, general counsel, directors of human resources and communications and the community relations lead. The Council meets quarterly to review grant and sponsorship requests. Work on the annual reinvestment budget begins in the fall, and is first reviewed by the FM&T Community Reinvestment Council in December. The Council approves the final budget by the end of January, and the budget is then sent to Honeywell corporate for review and approval by the CEO in February. The budget is also submitted to the NNSA HQ PA Director and KCFO.
