Keeping kids warm through the winter

Housing and shelter are important elements of the Honeywell Hometown Solutions component of Honeywell’s community program. As part of the company’s commitment to housing and shelter, employees participate in the annual Coats for Kids Campaign to meet this critical basic need for local children and families.

Honeywell celebrated its 10th anniversary as the leading corporate sponsor of Coats for Kids with KMBZ Radio and the Rotary Club. In honor of our 10th year, we doubled our corporate challenge $20,000 to drive in additional funds to provide warm winter coats to children in need. The matching grant helped raise a record $42,000 for the program. Honeywell employees also donated more than 200 new and used coats.
